FBC Children's Ministry
Our desire is to create an environment where children can experience God in a fun and creative way as they learn the truths of scripture. The greatest truth we teach each child is the love of God found in the Gospel. Our prayer is that each child will have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and live a life obediently following Him. Our leaders teach these truths through age-appropriate Bible studies, scripture memorization, reinforcing activities, prayer, and (of course) fund games.
Because we desire to see each child come to know Christ and grow in their relationship with Him, you can expect the following:
- Our leaders love kids and have been through a security process.
- Each child will be loved on, prayed for, and taught the word of God.
- Our curriculum will be age appropriate, centered around the Gospel, and effective in helping kids learn the character and lovingkindness of God.
- Resources will be available to parents that can aid them in reinforcing the lessons learned at church.
Children's Bible Study
Children's Bible Study happens each Sunday starting at 9:15 AM. We have classes for all ages. Each class learns age-appropriate truths from God's word.
Children's Worship
Children's Worship for 0-4 year olds begins at 10:30 when our regular worship service begins. Don't worry, leaders are in there early so you can drop your child off and find a place in the service. Children in Kindergarten-2nd Grade start in the service and head to Children's Worship right before the sermon, about midway through the service. A leader will meet your child at the sanctuary doors and escort them to our children's hall. If you have any questions about Children's Worship when you arrive, please ask our greeters at the welcome desk or outside when you walk up.
Wednesday Night activities remain on hold until further notice.
When you arrive: Ask a greeter to direct you to the Grow & Go Kids welcome desk. When you bring your child to the Grow & Go Kids welcome desk, you will check in through our online system. After you have checked in your child, you will be given a ticket confirming your identity as the adult that can checkout your child.
After the service: Please make your way back to the children's hall and check your child out from the welcome desk using the ticket you received when you signed them in.
